About Us

Caitlin Martin, MS, CCC-SLP

Welcome! I’m Caitlin, the owner of Better Together Speech Therapy. I am licensed in the state of Indiana and Colorado and nationally certified with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I have 9 years of experience working with children as a speech therapist. I specialize in autism diagnostics, particularly for children who speak both Spanish and English. I also evaluate for a variety of disorders including childhood apraxia of speech. 

 

I've worked in several autism centers in central Indiana as an ABA therapist and speech therapist. I incorporate AAC, reading, and imaginative play into my therapy sessions. I work virtually with clients and their caretakers in several ABA centers across Indiana.

 

In my free time, I enjoy playing house and reading with my two children. I am an avid reader and lead a neighborhood book club. I love unique houseplants and had over 100 at one point! I have a special place in my heart for Spain where I spent time as a childcare provider and student. I speak Spanish and enjoy improving my skills (especially if it means visiting Spain).

Alana Cowan, MS, CCC-SLP

Hello! I'm Alana. I am a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), licensed to practice speech pathology in the state of Indiana. I have 4 years of experience as an outpatient pediatric speech therapist, and I also spent time as an ABA therapist prior to entering graduate school.

 

My aim as a speech therapist is to promote functional communication using play. I love to utilize books, toys and games during therapy sessions. 

 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time at home with my fiance and our cat. I adore animals and hope to add some more pets to our family soon! I also have an affinity for houseplants and love being outdoors, playing games, and crafting.
